- The Department organised a national level workshop & competition on “Ethical Hacking & Cyber Security” in collaboration with Techfest, IIT Bombay on 10-11 September 2013. In this workshop focus was on the different issue of hacking and learning the ways to protect our important data from the hackers. Various aspects of cyber securityand cyber crime were also discussed.

The speaker was Mr. Sudhir Singh, Associate Professor, Kanpur Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He discussed different types of network and the importance of wireless network
